The authority here is a joke at best, and I don't exactly come from a place with much authority. If they do come towards you, they often forget themselves with a little bit of garden variety catnip. You'll find it grows bountiful in the ritzy districts downtown.
But you are right, distraction techniques work really well to keep the cats at play. The bigger the commotion the better, and some months you don't even need that because they just disappear. Not that those months are the easiest for causing any kind of shenanigans because the cats usually fuck off for a reason.
You'll have to forgive me, but I tend to find that questionable. Alterior motives always come with with the territory of these sorts of deals and I've got a real good record of knowing what's going on in this town, built my business on the back of it. Now don't get me wrong, I ain't unwilling to turn a blind eye as needed, but I didn't get where I am through blind trust.
Now, I care about everyone's business when it comes to my table. And if you don't know or care what my business is, then why are you asking for my services?
