I think we all managed to laugh after it turned out he was okay. At least me and my sister did, but my party planning powers were taken away after that.

Well now you have to tell me about the boys back home. What kind of shenanigans did they get up to?

[ There is a nostalgic look that crosses her face and something pulls at her heart. She missed them, truly she does and despite that she's got a growing business again, it's still not quite the same. Especially since here she is not nearly as much of a public menace. Wow Deerington...what have you done to her? ]

Most of us don't have any family, or none worth speaking of. So we sort of together formed a group. Started out with myself, and that idiot who lied about my age, as well as two others. But we grew. Got a set of triplets who latched on to us once upon a time and I swear they are dumb as rocks, but they know how to have a good time.

But, they once told me that they were dumb because they only had one brain that got split between them. They were absolutely floored to learn it didn't work that way.

[Oh. Ruby can't help but feel a little touched to get an honest reply from Ashe. She hoped that she'd get the opportunity to get home and see them again.]

Sounds a lot more like family then just a group of hooligans. I'm glad you have one of those dummy's with you here.

I feel like I've had that conversation with my time about me and my sister. I guess we aren't really considered the best and brightest that we have to offer either.

[ She hadn't realized it would mean so much to the girl, but she finds it's just nice thinking about them, especially on her birthday. ]

You're right. We are a family. I always lived by the idea that if you don't got one, you gotta make one.

Sounds like you got one though. You miss your sister?

I think that's a really good way to think. I've got one but it's become more extended since I'd definitely consider the people I travel with to be a part of it now too.

Somehow I actually didn't get split up from her. She ended up here with me too. Her names Yang and you'll know her when you see her. She's got some big punch energy one her. I do miss my dad and my uncle though. I was traveling with my uncle before I got here but it's been over a year since I last got to see my dad.

Extended family is the best. Especially when you choose them.

Oh. Yang. That sounds kinda familiar. She got blonde hair? Or am I confusing her with someone else?

Agreed! We're mostly friends from school, along with a farmboy, my uncle and an old lady we picked up along the way. But we've all the made the choice to stick together. It's pretty great.

That's her! The family resemblance isn't all that strong but that's my sister. You've met her?

We've spoken briefly. I think it was on board the ship back in January.

She's basically the best sister someone could ask for. If you ignore all the puns and an explosive temper that literally flares up sometimes.
